For Rent: Newer view home, September through December, 2024.

Our desert house is in the SW corner of the park, far from the roads where it’s very quiet. On the back wall with a spectacular and unimpeded view of the desert, 10,800 foot Mt San Jacinto and the San Jacinto mountains, and 11,500 foot Mt. San Gorgonio and the San Bernardino mountains just to the west of Palm Springs. Across from Satellite C with a large pool, hot tub, showers and restrooms, laundry and a meeting room. The shower rooms were recently upgraded with granite and tile throughout.

A Park Model home is a modular home of 400 square feet built to contemporary residential construction standards with 2×4 studs and drywall. Our home is a newer, upgraded model with granite countertops, a coved 9’5″ ceiling, a very quiet air conditioner, and has a large covered porch on the back with a great view of the desert and the mountains.

The kitchen has good storage, a refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, gas range and oven, dishwasher, Keurig coffeemaker, Breville toaster oven, and upgraded wood cabinets. We have all the pots and pans, silverware, dishes, condiments and spices you’ll need.

There are ceiling fans in the back porch, living room and bedroom. The home is bright and airy with numerous clerestory windows, skylights, screened doors and windows.

The bedroom has a queen bed, high thread count sheets, towels, and built-in cabinets with a large double slider closet.

We practically live on the 10′ x 11′ back porch. There are 4 comfortable and well-padded wicker easy chairs, 3 end tables and a large ottoman. The overhead fan keeps the air moving and there’s a cordless sun shade you can lower when the sun nears the western horizon. It’s a great place to entertain, read a book, or just sit and watch the mountains the desert and the sunset.

The TV is a good quality 50″ Smart HDTV with a number of streaming applications. We have a large cable package with a few hundred channels and our home wireless network signal tests at 200 megabits (plenty for streaming) with 11 megabits upload and a 21 ms ping. There’s also a small laser printer connected to the network.

We have covered parking for one car, a Weber charcoal bbq in the back yard and a couple of bird feeders that generate a lot of action.

$2,500 per month. Your rent includes all utilities, house cleaning every 2 weeks, and the final cleaning. $500 fully refundable damage deposit.
